Paper Abstract:      In general, e-Learning contents are composed of some representative media such as sentences/figures and tables/soundnarrations/ video/animations/simulations. Then, we try to explore how to construct frames /contents from the point of semantic relationship among those media for the purpose of enhancing learning effect. On e-Learning, the quality of learning contents is very important for the purpose of guaranteeing learners’ achievement. The aim of this study is to develop the design and analysis methodology for extracting features and characteristics from e-Learning contents, in consideration of the semantic relationship between figures and sentences. On the basis of this analysis, we propose a method for contents construction. Moreover, we try to test “synergy-effect” for the compounded contents among figures, sentences, and sound-narrations. Also, we propose the concept of “Rhythm for understanding” from the point of the semantic relationship among those media. We define for that “Rhythm for understanding” is internal behavior to make harmony in brain for understanding a series of learning/instructional materials, accompanied with the several represented media. We assume the degree of this harmony “synergy-effect”.
